Description
This amazing 30 Minute Bear Glacier Tour begins south over Resurrection Bay’s coast and on to Kenai Fjords National Park where, along the way, you may see a variety of Alaskan Wildlife, both land and sea. Entering Bear Glacier Lagoon, you will view hundreds of massive icebergs that have recently calved into the stunning blue waters then fly over Bear Glacier, the largest glacier descending off the Harding Icefield. As a special bonus for our group we have added in a landing at Bear Glacier Lagoon. This is at an incredible beach with icebergs that wash onshore. This landing is routinely voted a “must do” by the locals It’s a great location for photos, serenity, and to experience Alaska’s backcountry.
You will go on this excursion in groups of 6 (3 per flight group). Let Amber know at [email protected] if you’d like to be in the same group with someone.
Please note, that there is a weight limit of 300lbs (~136 kg). If you book this excursion, you will need to know your weight or have to be weighed at the launchpad as the helicopters have to be weight balanced.
