Our Clear Boundaries
1. Respect Consent & Personal Space
Always ask before hugging, photographing, or filming someone. “No” is a complete sentence — respect it immediately and without pressure. Everyone’s comfort zone is different, and that’s okay.
2. No Aggressive Pitching or Selling
Nomad Cruise is not a sales floor. Share what you do when asked, but don’t corner people with pitches, unsolicited offers, or recruiting. Build real relationships first — opportunities follow naturally.
3. Zero Tolerance for Discrimination
Harassment, bullying, racism, sexism, homophobia, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated — period. This is a space where everyone deserves to feel safe, seen, and respected regardless of identity, background, or beliefs.
4. Respect the Program & Speakers
Arrive on time, silence your phone, and be fully engaged during workshops and talks. Speakers volunteer their expertise — honor that by being an active, respectful audience.
5. Own Your Behavior
Enjoy yourself, but stay in control. Excessive behavior that negatively impacts others — whether fueled by alcohol or not — is your responsibility. If you’re asked to adjust, do so gracefully.
6. Speak Up When It Matters
If you see something that doesn’t feel right, say something. Talk to a crew member or the Nomad Cruise team. We’re here to help, and we take every concern seriously. Looking out for each other is how we keep this community strong.
